Well... I finally got to meet George Newbern! For anyone that doesn't know him, he's a actor(best known for roles in Adventures of Babysitting, Father of the Bride 1,2&3, many TV shows and voice acting) Also dad of Reece's girlfriend Mae. It was truly an honor, he was super kind to me and we had a lovely chat. I was nervous to approach him at first, but he made the conversation very easy! Once I told him I was BibbyfulReece, he knew who I was right away and said we needed to take a selfie so he could send it to Reece. I am still in amazement, when they know who I am. He told me he thought I was British!!! I told him "nope just a lonely NHC/Reece fan from Canada" We talked about Mae, Reece and Rover("just the sweetest dog")... he mentioned Reece has written "quite a lot" of songs in a short amount of time and his talent is undeniable and I couldn't have agree more! We also talked about Ten Hands Olive Oil, a family company the Newberns run from their farm in Southern California! Maybe one day Canadian will get some Ten Hands Olive Oil up here!!! 🤞 He was super down to earth and I enjoyed spending some time chatting with him, hopefully I get to see him again one day!!!
